Rachel Sarrano is a composer, lyricist, and writer based in Fairfax, Virginia. Her work encompasses a variety of genres and storytelling mediums. Rachel has a MFA in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her teachers have included Roger Zahab, Michael Early, Dr. Glenn Smith, and James “Jim” Tucker.
Current projects include a collaboration with bassist Kim Parillo, a Christmas cantata for women’s voices, a musical theater adaptation of A Christmas Carol, and a novella loosely based on Sumerian mythology. Stay tuned in 2021 for podcast premiere and publication dates!
